Basketball Recap: Denmark's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Denmark came into Friday's match having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 39-31 victory over the Waupaca Comets on Friday. The Vikings have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Comets, too.

Denmark's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Waupaca, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Denmark will venture away from home to square off against Fox Valley Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Waupaca, they are taking a road trip to face off against Marinette at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
