Volleyball Recap: Holgate Takes a Loss

Holgate lost against Hilltop back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tigers came up short against the Cadets, falling 3-0. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-19, 25-11.

Delaney Meyer paced Holgate's offense, picking up six kills. Meyer got some help from Sylee Leaders and her 11 assists. Ryli Rohrs controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Holgate's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Hilltop, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-5.

Holgate has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Edon on the 2nd. As for Hilltop, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Pettisville on the 2nd.
