Basketball Recap: Bensalem Takes a Loss

On Tuesday, the Bensalem Fighting Owls took a blow against the Upper Dublin Cardinals, falling 67-39. While losing is never fun, the Fighting Owls can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 199th, while the Cardinals are ranked third).

Defeat or not, Bensalem got some senior leadership from Jah Chatman and Amir Drummond. Chatman posted eight points, while Drummond put up 13 points.

This is the second loss in a row for Bensalem and nudges their season record down to 8-6. As for Upper Dublin, the victory was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-1.

Bensalem will head out on the road to challenge William Tennent at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bensalem is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.6 points per game this season. Upper Dublin has already played their next contest (against North Penn), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
