Soccer Recap: Cortez Comes Up Short

Cortez was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dysart Demons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Colts of the 4-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

Cortez's loss dropped their record down to 0-3-1. As for Dysart, they now have a winning record of 2-1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cortez will square off against St. Mary's at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Dysart, they will challenge Combs at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Combs' last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
