South Pemiscot had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.1 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Wednesday. They didn't even let the Campbell Camels on the board, marking their second-straight 14-0 shutout. Surprisingly, this marked the Bulldogs' fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

South Pemiscot's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-8. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Campbell, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-24.

South Pemiscot didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 14-8 victory against Holcomb on the 17th. Campbell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
