Basketball Recap: Kimberton Waldorf Bulls vs. Valley Forge Baptist Academy Patriots        
        
		
             Kimberton Waldorf unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were just a bucket shy of victory  on Monday and fell  47-46 to the Valley Forge Baptist Academy Patriots. The Bulls lost against the Patriots in their previous head to head  back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the  61-23 score last time.
 Despite the  defeat, Kimberton Waldorf had strong showings from  Franklin Matichak, who  went 7 for 12 en route to 18 points plus six  rebounds and two  steals, and  Jojo Da Graca, who  earned 11 points in addition to six  steals and five  rebounds.  Will De Prado was another key player,  earning five points along with seven  rebounds and two  steals.
  Ian Wall was a one-man wrecking crew for Valley Forge Baptist Academy as he  scored 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Nate Caldwell, who  posted 12 points.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kimberton Waldorf won't have much time to rest: their next  contest is against Community Academy of Philadelphia  at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Valley Forge Baptist Academy, they will also get right back to it: they'll  face off against  High Point Baptist Academy  at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
