Volleyball Recap: Fort Lupton Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Fort Lupton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Weld Central Rebels. The Bluedevils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rebels apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as three sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. The final score came out to 18-25, 28-26, 26-24, 28-26.

Tessa Johnson paced Fort Lupton's offense, picking up 22 kills. Johnson got some help from Andrea Anguiano and her 25 assists. Kyleigh Taylor controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Fort Lupton's loss dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Weld Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-14 record this season.

As of now, neither Fort Lupton nor Weld Central have any future games scheduled.
