After losing to Homewood-Flossmoor the last time they met, Lincoln-Way Central decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Knights walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Vikings on Wednesday. The win was nothing new for the Knights as they're now sitting on three straight.

Lincoln-Way Central easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-15.

Lincoln-Way Central's victory bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Homewood-Flossmoor, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-13 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lincoln-Way Central will face off against rival Sandburg at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Homewood-Flossmoor is set to challenge their familiar foe Bradley-Bourbonnais at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
