Baseball Recap: Hemingway Comes Up Short

Hemingway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 15-0 to the Johnsonville Flashes. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 15-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Hemingway's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Johnsonville, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Johnsonville beat Hemingway by a score of 16-0 later that day.
