Softball Recap: Fox Valley Lutheran Picks Up 13th Consecutive Victory

Fox Valley Lutheran put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 10-5 victory over the Little Chute Mustangs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 19-2 back in April.

Olivia Fischer was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April. Lexi Hanson was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Fox Valley Lutheran was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Little Chute only posted a batting average of .111.

Fox Valley Lutheran's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-0. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Little Chute, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.
