GV Christian had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came out on top against the Virginia City Muckers by a score of 2-0. The Guardians were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Muckers, so the Guardians were just returning the favor.

Jenna Pulcini paced GV Christian's offense, picking up four kills. Pulcini really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with six. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

GV Christian's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Virginia City, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

GV Christian has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Cristo Rey St. Viator on the 30th. As for Virginia City, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Mineral County on the 6th.
