Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sage Creek). They blew past the Vista Panthers 42-6 on Monday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Bobcats with their most commanding win of the season.

Sage Creek is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-9 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 14.8 points on average over those games. As for Vista, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Looking ahead, Sage Creek will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Canyon Crest Academy at 5:30 p.m. As for Vista, they will face off against Del Norte at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Nighthawks' defense has only allowed 10.5 points per game this season, so the Panthers' offense will have their work cut out for them.
