Meanwhile, Bellmont had to suffer through a 70-39 loss at the hands of Columbia City. The Braves haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Bellmont's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Norwell, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-4.
