Baseball Game Preview: Oak Hill Raiders vs. Mount Abram Roadrunners

The Oak Hill Raiders will face off against the Mount Abram Roadrunners at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Oak Hill has given up an average of 8.5 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Oak Hill lost 12-2 to Monmouth Academy on Monday. The Raiders haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Oak Hill saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braden Dubuc, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Lisbon typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday Mount Abram proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 7-4 victory over the Greyhounds. The Roadrunners haven't had any issues with the Greyhounds recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Kaiden Longley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and three unearned) runs on seven hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Killian Pillsbury was excellent, going 1-for-4 with three stolen bases and two runs. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Landen Marble, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Oak Hill's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Mount Abram, their victory bumped their record up to 11-4.
