Canterbury suffered their closest defeat yet this season on Friday. They fell just short of Evangelical Christian by a score of 49-46.
Meanwhile, Ida Baker's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They lost to Island Coast at home by a decisive 71-56 margin. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Canterbury has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for Ida Baker, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 1-13.
