Softball Recap: Fall Mountain Comes Up Short

Fall Mountain lost against Monadnock back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Wildcats took an 11-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Huskies. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fall Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Monadnock, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fall Mountain will host Hinsdale at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Monadnock, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Prospect Mountain at 4:00 p.m. The Timberwolves will roll in looking for their 15th straight win, something the Huskies surely won't give up without a fight.
