Baseball Recap: Woodcrest Christian Royals vs. Western Christian Fighting Lancers
Woodcrest Christian was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Western Christian on Saturday. The Royals never let the Fighting Lancers get on the board and left with a 6-0 win. The Royals haven't had any issues with the Fighting Lancers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Aiden Cook made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Cook was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
