Basketball Recap: Ten Sleep Comes Up Short

Ten Sleep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 48-42 heartbreaker at the hands of the Kaycee Buckaroos. The Pioneers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Buckaroos apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Ten Sleep's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Kaycee, their win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-14.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ten Sleep will welcome Burlington at 6:00 p.m. on February 22nd. As for Kaycee, they will challenge Midwest at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Kaycee has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
