Sheridan got themselves on the board against Pine Bluff on Tuesday, but Pine Bluff never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 17-0 margin over the Zebras. The result was nothing new for the Yellowjackets, who have now won nine matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Sheridan pushed their record up to 14-4-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Pine Bluff, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Sheridan is set to square off against their familiar foe Lake Hamilton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Yellowjackets 2.2, the Wolves 2.3) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Pine Bluff will challenge rival El Dorado at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
