Football Recap: Seguin Skates Past the Colony with Ease + How To Watch

Seguin had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 38-point drubbing they dealt The Colony on Thursday. Seguin claimed a resounding 68-30 victory over The Colony. Considering Seguin has won three games by more than 20 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Several Cougars players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jaylen Gaines, who threw for 198 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 73 yards and one score on only ten carries. Another rusher making a difference was Kendrick McClodden, who rushed for 120 yards and one TD.

The win keeps Seguin at an undefeated 5-0. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 43.2 points this season. As for The Colony, they dropped their record down to 2-3 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.
