Lane Tech won the last time they faced Kenwood and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Champions walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Broncos.

Lane Tech easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-14.

Colette Heneghan paced Lane Tech's offense, picking up seven kills. Heneghan got some help from Amelie Patterson and her 15 assists. Abigail Graff controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Lane Tech is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-13 record this season. As for Kenwood, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-10.

Lane Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kenwood, they will be taking part in a tournament against Providence Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
