Basketball Recap: Prince of Peace Takes a Loss

Prince of Peace was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 55-33 to the Brazos Christian Eagles. While losing is never fun, Prince of Peace can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 993rd, while Brazos Christian is ranked 494th).

Prince of Peace's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Brazos Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 11-4.

Prince of Peace will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Covenant at 6:00 p.m. on January 10, 2025. As for Brazos Christian, they will take on New Waverly in a tournament on Friday. New Waverly will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Brazos Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
