Forest Lake proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Woodbury Royals 3-2. This was payback for the Rangers, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Forest Lake has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Woodbury, they dropped their record down to 6-10-1 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Forest Lake will square off against DeLaSalle at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Woodbury, they will challenge Roseville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
