Softball Recap: Sardis Takes a Loss

Sardis and Ardmore squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Sardis had to settle for second. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 9-1. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Lions couldn't push the score so high this time.

Sardis' defeat dropped their record down to 28-17. As for Ardmore, they pushed their record up to 29-17-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Sardis didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 9-0 loss against Scottsboro on the 5th. As for Ardmore, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 10-5 defeat against Russellville on the 5th.
