Arcola won the last time they faced Heritage and things went their way on Saturday too. The Arcola Purple Riders skirted past the Heritage Hawks 45-42. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Purple Riders.

Heritage's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Addison Hopper, who went 6 for 13 en route to 16 points and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Maegan Frye, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds.

Arcola is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. As for Heritage, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-10.

Arcola wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 50-17 win against Villa Grove on the 27th. As for Heritage, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 56-28 victory against Okaw Valley on the 27th.
