Recap: Glacier Peak Grizzlies vs. Jackson Timberwolves
The Glacier Peak Grizzlies had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.8 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 35-7 victory over Jackson. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-0.
Lucas Entler looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 81 yards and four touchdowns. Glacier Peak also got a significant boost from Chrisvin Bonshe, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 106 yards.
Glacier Peak's win was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 6-2. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-8 Mariner and 2-6 Jackson (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 37.5% over those games). As for Jackson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.
Glacier Peak will look to defend their home field on Friday against Lake Stevens at 7:00 p.m. Lake Stevens is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Jackson, they will head out on the road to face off against Redmond at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
