Softball Recap: Central Christian Comes Up Short

Central Christian fell victim to Hiland and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Hawks, falling 10-0. The Comets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Central Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Hiland, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-15.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central Christian will take on Lowellville at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Comets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rockets have averaged an impressive 6.1 runs per game this season. As for Hiland, they will face off against Shadyside at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
