Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Erie-Prophetstown). They managed a 42-37 win over the Morrison Mustangs on Monday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Panthers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Erie-Prophetstown's win bumped their record up to 5-17. As for Morrison, they moved to 4-23 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Erie-Prophetstown will challenge Mendota at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Morrison, they will face off against Polo at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Polo will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Morrison surely won't give up without a fight.
