Volleyball Recap: Taos Triumphs + How To Watch

Taos hadn't done well against Robertson recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Tigers came out on top against the Cardinals by a score of 3-1. This was payback for the Tigers, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 22-25, 27-25, 25-14.

Kymberlee Serna paced Taos' offense, picking up 12 kills. Serna got some help from Isabella Lucero and her 47 assists. Finally, Sierra Griego kept Taos' defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

The win got Taos back to even at 6-6. As for Robertson, they moved to 6-4 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Taos wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Capital on the 30th. As for Robertson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Espanola Valley on the 30th.
