Volleyball Game Preview: Pine River Area Bucks vs. Hesperia Panthers

The Pine River Area Bucks will face off against the Hesperia Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hesperia took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Pine River Area, who comes in off a win.

On Saturday, Pine River Area beat Elk Rapids 2-0.

Meanwhile, Hesperia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to Hart.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-12, 25-16.

Hesperia's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Pine River Area, their victory bumped their record up to 11-8.

Pine River Area took their win against Hesperia in their previous matchup back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Bucks repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
