Baseball Recap: Ellington Comes Up Short

Ellington lost against Somers back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Knights fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 2-1. The match marked the Knights' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Ellington saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dylan Killoran, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Ellington and nudges their season record down to 14-6. Even worse, they were so close both times: the defeats came by an average of only one runs. As for Somers, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-5.
