Basketball Recap: Make It Eight in a Row for Lawrence

Lawrence entered their tilt with Princeton Day on Thursday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They strolled past the Princeton Day Panthers with points to spare, taking the game 52-37. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cardinals also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Lawrence is also on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.1 points per game. As for Princeton Day, they now have a losing record at 6-7.

Lawrence will welcome Monroe Township at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The timing is sure in Lawrence's favor as the squad sits on seven straight wins at home while Monroe Township has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road. As for Princeton Day, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Princeton Day Panthers duke it out with the Princeton Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
