Baseball Recap: Hunter Wolverines vs. Kearns Cougars

Hunter extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 28 on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 0-24 in the process. They came up short against the Kearns Cougars, falling 12-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, with their most recent defeat being a 14-6 loss on Wednesday.

Slaugh has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs and one RBI. He has become a key player for Kearns: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 0-20 otherwise.
