Recap: Rossview Hawks vs. West Creek Coyote
The Rossview Hawks won the last time they faced the West Creek Coyote, and things went their way on Thursday too. Rossview strolled past West Creek with points to spare, taking the game 67-52. Given Rossview's advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 56th, while West Creek is ranked 201st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Rossview got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Cameryn Ward out in front who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Jacob Edwards was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds.
The victory makes it two in a row for Rossview and bumps their season record up to 13-9. As for West Creek, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.
Rossview will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Kirkwood at 7:30 p.m. As for West Creek, they will head out on the road to take on Northwest at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
