Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask New Hope). Everything went their way against the Corinth Warriors on Tuesday as New Hope made off with a 14-4 victory. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by six runs or more this season.

New Hope pushed their record up to 9-5 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Corinth, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 8-7.

The teams wasted no time getting back out on the field as they've already faced off again: they played to a 0-0 tie later that day.
