Volleyball Recap: Arlington Has No Trouble Against Cascade

Arlington won the last time they faced Cascade and things went their way on Thursday too. The Eagles put the hurt on the Bruins with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Eagles not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since November 14, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

While Arlington won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-24, 25-12.

Emme Shaffer paced Arlington's offense, picking up 16 kills. Shaffer got some help from Audrey Marsh and her 11 assists. Shaffer was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

The win got Arlington back to even at 2-2. As for Cascade, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Arlington has already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Glacier Peak on the 20th. As for Cascade, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mariner at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
