Baseball Game Preview: Dixon Dukes & Duchesses vs. Genoa-Kingston Cogs

For the second straight game, Dixon will face off against Genoa-Kingston. The Dukes & Duchesses will face off against the Cogs at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Dixon has four straight victories, Genoa-Kingston has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Monday, Dixon beat Genoa-Kingston 10-7.

Jake Zepezauer was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-3. Jagger Kemp also deserves some recognition as he scored his first runs of the season.

Dixon pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Genoa-Kingston, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.
