It'll be Battle of the Birds when Eagles faces off against the Skyline Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Broomfield will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Last Friday, Broomfield was able to grind out a solid victory over Riverdale Ridge, taking the game 22-13.

It was another big night for Colin Torres, who rushed for 130 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 83-yard run.

Broomfield was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 287 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September.

Meanwhile, Skyline came into Thursday's game having lost 12 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They blew past Adams City 41-8 on Thursday. The Falcons' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Skyline didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Johnny Mccray and Miley Davis.

Broomfield's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Skyline, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-8.
