Softball Game Preview: Southlands Christian Eagles vs. Calvary Chapel Grizzlies

For the second straight game, Southlands Christian will face off against Calvary Chapel. The Eagles will challenge the Grizzlies on Tuesday. Southlands Christian knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Calvary Chapel likes a good challenge.

Calvary Chapel's hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Tuesday: Southlands Christian hadn't allowed a single run the last three times they've hit the field. The Eagles have beaten the Grizzlies the last nine times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Grizzlies has come to flipping the script.

Natalia Bargas made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.
