Softball Game Preview: Enterprise Hornets vs. Red Bluff Spartans

Enterprise is 0-10 against Red Bluff since May of 2019 but things could change on Tuesday. The Hornets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Spartans at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Enterprise lost 9-3 to Foothill on Friday. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Enterprise saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sadie Ross, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Red Bluff fell victim to Foothill and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Cougars, falling 10-0. The Spartans just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Red Bluff's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11-1. As for Enterprise, their loss dropped their record down to 5-12.

Enterprise's speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's contest. The Hornets have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.7 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Red Bluff, though, as they've been averaging only 0.5 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Enterprise continue to outrun the ball?
