Volleyball Recap: Loganville Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Addison Warnack and Taylor Higgins

Loganville lost against Jackson County on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Red Devils took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers.

Loganville started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-20, 25-21, 25-16.

Despite the loss, Loganville had strong showings from Taylor Higgins, who had nine digs and one assist, and Addison Warnack, who had six kills and one block. Ava Joyce also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Loganville's defeat dropped their record down to 29-18. As for Jackson County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-7 record this season.

Loganville has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Lakeside on the 15th. As for Jackson County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Glynn Academy on the 15th.
