Football Recap: Potsdam Beats Canton for Their Fourth Straight Victory + How To Watch

Potsdam strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They strolled past the Canton Golden Bears with points to spare, taking the game 22-6. The Sandstoners have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Golden Bears, too.

Leading Potsdam to victory were Brodey Delaney and Gannon Colbert. Delaney rushed for 126 yards and one touchdown, while Colbert rushed for 110 yards and one TD. Colbert's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 110 rushing yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Potsdam was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 300 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 231 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Potsdam didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Cash Green led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself.

Potsdam's record now sits at 4-0. As for Canton, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
