Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Grayslake North). They were the clear victors by a 15-2 margin over the Lakes Eagles on Thursday. Considering the Knights have won five matchups by more than eight runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Grace Hoker made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-4.
