After losing to Mechanicsburg the last time they met, Northeastern decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Northeastern Jets skirted past the Mechanicsburg Indians 56-54. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Jets.

Several Indians players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Keegan Freeze, who went 5 for 11 en route to 13 points. Conner Eyink was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Northeastern's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Mechanicsburg, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Northeastern wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, an 85-40 win against Bradford on the 1st. As for Mechanicsburg, they will take on Urbana at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Urbana will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Mechanicsburg surely won't give up without a fight.
