Volleyball Recap: Greeley Central Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Greeley Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Berthoud Spartans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-11, 25-18.

Kneena Grigsby paced Greeley Central's offense, picking up five kills. Grigsby got some help from Aubree Cruz and her five assists.

Berthoud had a senior duo take command as Bella Shelton had 16 digs and one assist and Morgan Brown had 18 assists. Those 18 assists set a new season-high mark for Brown.

Greeley Central's defeat dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Berthoud, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-1.

Greeley Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Berthoud, they will head out on the road to square off against Severance at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
