Basketball Recap: Liberty-Benton Falls Short of Canton South in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Liberty-Benton can now relate to. They fell 39-26 to the Canton South Wildcats on Tuesday.

Liberty-Benton's loss dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Canton South, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 18-7.

Liberty-Benton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Canton South, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Wildcats duke it out with the Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Norwayne knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Canton South likes a good challenge.
