Things were looking good for Kearsley after they put the first run on the board on Wednesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell 6-2 to Holly.

Meanwhile, Gaylord suffered their biggest defeat since April 12, 2025 on Tuesday. They lost 11-1 to Traverse City Central. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Blue Devils, who until this contest were averaging 1.83 runs allowed.

Kearsley's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Gaylord, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.
