Northmont is 0-10 against Springboro since May of 2018 but things could change on Tuesday. The Thunderbolts will welcome the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. Springboro took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Northmont, who comes in off a win.
Northmont is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Fairmont a 10-0 shutout on Monday. The Thunderbolts not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since May 11, 2024 (when they won 12-1).
Northmont got a great performance from Brady Canan as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over five innings pitched. Canan also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because the Thunderbolts are undefeated when he allows at most two earned runs, but 1-9-1 otherwise.
