On Friday Seton Catholic will have to hit the road after three straight games at home. They will venture away from home to take on the Sierra Linda Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Seton Catholic is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 29.7 points per game this season.

If Seton Catholic beats Sierra Linda with 36 points on Friday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. Wesley Reece had a dynamite game for Sierra Linda, rushing for 73 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. Sierra Linda is 2-1 when Reece posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 1-4 otherwise.

Sierra Linda's defense stepped up as well, laying out Armani Cruz. three times. Jaeden Love was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two sackshimself. He also set a new season high mark in total tackles with eight.

Seton Catholic's record now sits at 6-2. As for Sierra Linda, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-5.

Friday's game might be decided in the on the ground. Seton Catholic has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 177.4 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Sierra Linda struggles in that department as they've been averaging 169.3. It's looking like Friday's matchup might have some serious battles in the trenches.
