Having just played yesterday, the Fredonia Lynx will get right back to it and host the Ash Fork Spartans at 2:00 p.m. on December 16th. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Fredonia unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They were the victim of a rough 45-23 loss at the hands of Williams. Fredonia has struggled against Williams recently, as their game on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Ash Fork was beaten by St. Michael 58-15 on Tuesday. Ash Fork was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-9.
Violeta Trujillo was Ash Fork's leading scorer, having posted six points.
Eva Flores held things down on the boards with nine rebounds. She took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with an assist.
Fredonia's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Ash Fork, they bumped their record down to 4-8 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
